Humpty Dumpty is John’s heart

The Women: Sex and Success in the Canon, Warner Bros, and BBC Sherlock by Lyndsay Faye, presented at the BSI’s Sherlock Holmes: Behind the Canonical Screen conference at UCLA. Introduced by Michael Kean.
All about Irene Adler!
A brilliant, engaging and honest look. Definitely worth a watch.

‘ELEMENTARY’ REVIEW (A little rough) (NO SPOILERS!!!…well, maybe one)
Elementary was….average. There were some things that were good about the pilot and there were some things that kinda bothered me:
Sherlock’s “deductions.”
Pretty much anyone with a passing sense observation…

John: Have you talked to the police?
Sherlock: Four people are dead. There isn’t time to talk to the police.
John: So, why are you talking to me?

Irene Adler: Do you know the big problem with a disguise, Mr. Holmes? However hard you try, it’s always a self-portrait.
Sherlock Holmes: You think I’m a vicar with a bleeding face?
Irene Adler: No, I think you’re damaged, delusional and believe in a higher power. In your case, it’s yourself.
